be cut? One of our founding members, Tammy Stevens, has offered to spearhead a Friends
of Ellenberger Park group that would take responsibility for our
beautiful park and make sure we can safely enjoy it regardless of city

This past week both the rain barrel workshop and the film
night were a hit - thanks for turning out, neighbors! In fact, according to our
intrepid workshop leader Tyler Henderson of Cottage Home, the Irvington rain
barrel workshop was the best one he's done so far - and he's donating 10
percent of proceeds to IGI. (For info on building your own rain barrels,

If you missed our local foods film and discussion, you might
want to download the attached local foods resources list. (And for those
of you who were there - I've expanded it a bit since that evening.) Also, Bookmamas
has a limited number of Farmer John DVDs available! Both
Edibles and Bookmamas are offering Farmer John cookbooks as well.
