  A new year is here again, and as per usual we're called towards deep reflection. Have I lived the past 12 months faithful to my values? Was I effective as an employee, parent or spouse? Can I bear to look at myself in the mirror, or do I still tend to do things that give me shame? Is this the best that I can be, or do I still have room for improvement?
Questions! Questions! Questions!
Don't worry. If you're not yet the perfect adult you've always envisioned you'd become, that's okay. No one is flawless; we're all works in progress! (A relief to know, isn't it? And yes, it rhymes too.) What's important is that we're constantly aware of areas in our personality that need polishing, and we're willing to take the steps to wipe off some of the dirt and grime. We must endeavor to have a Personal Development Plan, and update it on a constant basis.

Pet Poisoning in Irvington and Little Flower

There was at least one confirmed antifreeze poisoning of a neighbor's dog which was in
its fenced backyard.  Another pet seems to also have been poisoned
recently too.  The police officer reported similar instances in the
Little Flower and Irvington neighborhoods.

Even though a fenced yard seems safe to leave your pet unattended,
unfortunately this is not the case.  Please be extra watchful of your
pets and do not leave them unattended.  Take extra precaution with
outside water bowls - either bringing them in at night or washing them
frequently.  Any extra thought to your pet's safety is helpful in
prevention!
