Rev. Theodore Hessburgh, President Emeritus University of Notre Dame began the evening with a pledge and a summons: "The Peace of the world begins in Jerusalem."
Dr. Tsvia Walden, Board of Director of the Peres Center and Geneva Initiative stated, "There is a need for a third party in the negotiations that could enable both sides to trust each other. There are more people in this region interested in making concessions, they all want peace so desperately."
The Coordinator of World Bank emergency services to the Palastinian Authority, Rania Kharma commented, "We all need to be the bridges to our leaders that justice, equality, and human rights will bring peace. Give people justice and they will reward you with peace."

A Spanish holiday
It is easy to understand the reason why millions of people from all the corners of the world choose Spain as their holiday destination. This European country really is one of the most beautiful and spectacular in the entire world. When you visit it, you will see that its beauty comes from its incredible diversity: it does not matter what type of tourist you are because you will definitely find something of your taste in Spain. The landscapes differ from those dominated by high mountains with peaks covered by snow all year long to those dominated by stretched beaches and shallow waters of a perfect crystal clear blue, the cities are modern and even futuristic but you will also find small villages where the traditions and the customs of the country are still alive.
A place to visit
If you have problems in deciding where to go on your Spanish holiday, I strongly recommend Alicante. Situated on the sunny Costa Blanca, Alicante is a vibrant city with a very turbulent past that has left its fingerprints on Recommend this article... |
