adouglas - one of the best business decis   | Registered | 2008-06-28 14:52:43 I visited a Rainmaker event a couple months ago, and was a little leery of "hard-sell" business network. As it didn't cost anything to come as a guest, I thought I would at least acclimate myself to the pressure of networking. This was nothing like that. Everybody was very friendly, and seemed most interested in helping me make the contacts that would help my business. Nobody tried to sell me anything. I ended up joining that day, and it has been a wonderful tool in helping me define my business and establish relationships that will help me grow professionally. More importantly, the relationships that are developed are worth more than the business that comes from it. It was inexpensive to join, and they made clear that if in one year, if I didn't feel that it was a good investment of my time and money, they would refund 100% of my membership.
